MetaTrader 5 (MT5) is a free trading platform launched in 2010 by the Russian software company MetaQuotes. The platform provides uninterrupted data from various markets, such as Forex, Crypto, Stocks, Futures and Indices, and instant trade execution. MetaTrader 5 is available in desktop, web, and mobile versions (Android and iOS), allowing users to access their trades anytime, anywhere. MetaTrader 5 provides a wide range of analytical tools, including 38 built-in indicators (e.g., Relative Strength Index (RSI) and Moving Average Convergence Divergence MACD), 44 objects (e.g., Gann, Fibonacci, and Elliott), and 21 timeframes (from 1-minute to monthly). The platform introduces a multifaceted trading system, enabling two types of position management systems: Hedging and Netting. One standout feature of MetaTrader 5 is its built-in economic calendar, which displays real-time financial data and allows for thorough fundamental analysis. The platform’s MQL5 programming language allows users to develop complex trading robots, custom indicators, and various scripts. Additionally, users can utilize the Strategy Tester tool to evaluate model performance under different market conditions. The MT5 Copy Trading feature provides access to various strategy providers within the platform. Users can review their performances and copy their trades.
