MACD Indicators for TradingView

MACD indicators in TradingView are provided as standalone tools in the form of editable scripts. These indicators usually include a combination of two exponential moving averages and a histogram chart that display price tendency information in an interpretable structure. In MACD oscillators, focusing on the difference between exponential averages produces a main line, which directly represents changes in the rate of price increase or decrease over specific periods. Alongside this, the signal line—being a smoothed function of previous data—is used for behavioral comparison at potential turning points. In some customized versions, freely available through Trading Finder, input parameters (including average lengths and calculation logic) have been redefined to allow compatibility with different trading styles, especially in mixed time frames. The formation of divergences between price candles and MACD curvature is one scenario in which an analyst, based on it, can assess the probability of a trend change.
